Membership in the Georgian Association for Interdisciplinary Research in Education (GAIRE) is open to Georgian and international legal entities and individuals who are interested in the Association’s field of activity and who agree with and adhere to the Association’s Statute.
Categories of Members
GAIRE recognizes the following categories of membership:Founding members
Founding members are individuals and/or legal entities who established the Association and contributed morally and materially to its foundation and the formation of its institutional and social capital.Honorary members
Honorary members are individuals or legal entities who are distinguished representatives of leading research institutions in Georgia or abroad and who make significant financial, moral, academic, or functional contributions to the mission and objectives of GAIRE. Through their professional activities, honorary members actively support the Association’s development and visibility.Full members
Full members are individuals or legal entities who, by virtue of their professional profile or institutional mission, conduct research in the field of education and meet the academic expertise requirements established by GAIRE’s internal regulations.Associate members
Associate members are individuals or legal entities engaged in educational research who contribute to GAIRE’s activities but are still in the process of academic or professional development required for full membership. This category typically includes early-career researchers, doctoral and post-doctoral students, as well as institutions in the process of establishment or consolidation.Conditions for Membership
Full Member
A full member enjoys all rights stipulated in the Statute and becomes a member of the General Assembly of GAIRE. This status may be obtained by meeting at least one of the following conditions:Associate Member
Associate members enjoy all membership rights except the right to vote, elect, or be elected. Associate membership may be obtained by meeting one of the following conditions:Ethical Requirements
Individuals applying for full or associate membership must have no criminal record and must not have been subject to sanctions related to violations of academic integrity or ethical standards. Compliance with this requirement is confirmed through a self-declaration included in the membership application.
